Mission Statement

The Mission of Rise Again Aftercare Ministries is to transform the lives of ex-offenders as they transition from incarceration to community.

Services are available to those who have been incarcerated in New Hampshire facilities and who will be living in Merrimack County upon release.

Our Purpose

Rise Again Aftercare Ministries is dedicated to providing a cost-effective, compassionate, Christian response to the problems of repeat offenders in our community.

We know that incarcerating offenders doesn’t always change their lifestyle, but the desire to change is the first step towards being transformed. We believe that the key to long term success of those transitioning back into society is the transformation of the individual that happens through the power and person of Jesus Christ. God, who offers grace, forgiveness and redemption to all who come to Him through His Son, Jesus, promises to provide a new purpose for those who trust in Him to do so.

Ministry Goals

• Reconcile the individual with Jesus Christ, their families and society
• Help create a new vision for the ex-offenders life
• Encourage healthy lifestyle changes through Biblical concepts
• Development of new relationships and personal support systems
• Connect to social services assistance available in the community

Services

Our services are provided from a Christian faith perspective and are designed to build positive relationships as ex-offenders look to rebuild their lives.

• Building a transition strategy and needs assessment
• Life skills training and mentoring
• Job search assistance
• Pastoral counseling and other professional services referrals
• Referrals to churches and other Christian-based resources
• Referrals to community social service organizations
• Clothing and furniture (based on availability)
