About Rise Again Outreach
The mission of Rise Again Outreach is to share God’s
love with people who are in crisis or poverty by helping to meet
their temporal and spiritual needs. We
plan to lease, build or purchase a facility in the capital area
to use as a Day Shelter/Learning Center to assist the neediest
among us, including the homeless, ex-offenders, refugees and
others trapped in poverty.
The life, ministry and mission of Jesus, the focus of
our faith, is the
inspiration for our organization.
The Rise Again building will be a drug and
alcohol free place for the capital area’s homeless and others to
go that will offer constructive activities and connections.
From the Learning Center we will run programs
that are designed to help people suffering from addictions and
substance abuse, provide life-skills instruction, job training,
social service assistance and other programs as needed by the
community.
Until a building is acquired, Rise
Again will be operating various programs out of the New
Beginnings Church of the Nazarene facilities in Loudon, NH and
other locations as available and practical.
Rise Again Outreach was created on July 23, 2007
by several members of the New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene
in Loudon, NH and other concerned individuals in order to
partner with federal, state and local agencies, charities and
religious organizations, businesses and interested individuals
to achieve its purposes.
Rise Again Outreach is a Christian, faith-based
organization committed to following the example of Jesus in our
ministry. Programs of Rise Again Outreach will be
available to all who are in need, regardless of race, ethnicity,
gender, sexual orientation or religious affiliation.
Rise Again Outreach is a Nazarene Compassionate
Ministry Center, a network of nonprofit organizations whose
roots and history stem from the Church of the Nazarene,
operating throughout the USA, Canada and around the globe.
The Church of the Nazarene is a Christian
holiness church in the Wesleyan tradition that has a long
history of social justice outreach to the poorest of society. Compassionate Ministry Centers seek
to
follow
the example of Jesus, to clothe, shelter, feed, heal, educate,
and live in solidarity with those who suffer under oppression,
injustice, violence, poverty, hunger, and disease and to
proclaim the Gospel to all people.
If
you would like to support this organization with your
time, talent or resources, we will gratefully receive whatever
assistance you offer.
