Volunteer NH’s 2013 Spirit of New Hampshire Awards
It is an honor to announce that Rise Again Outreach’s President, Bill Pelletier, will be the recipient of an Adult Service Award at the upcoming Volunteer NH’s 2013 Spirit of New Hampshire Awards Ceremony.
It is also an honor to announce that Rise Again Outreach will be the recipient of a Champion Award – Nonprofit at the upcoming Volunteer NH’s 2013 Spirit of New Hampshire Awards Ceremony.
We are all very excited about these two awards for all the good works that Bill and Rise Again Outreach are doing in our community.
To share God’s love with people who are in crisis or poverty by helping with their temporal and spiritual needs.
All of our activities are inspired by the ministry of Jesus, who was sent by God into the world “…not to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:16-17). Jesus went out healing the sick and proclaiming the Good News, and He commissioned His disciples to do likewise.
Mobile Mission – Brings compassionate assistance into struggling neighborhoods, distributing donated clothing, non-perishable food and personal care items to the homeless, refugees, the working poor and others in need.
Aftercare – Seeks to transform the lives of ex-offenders as they transition from incarceration to community.
English as a Second Language – Give local refugee populations the tools they need for independent living, taught from a Christian worldview.
Rise Again Raceway Ministry – Rise Again will be providing a family-friendly venue at the two upcoming NASCAR races. We will be set up in the camping area and have a concert on Friday, a pinewood derby for kids on Saturday with other activities, and a church service on Sunday. We will be continuing the great works started by New England Raceway Ministry who merged into Rise Again Outreach in 2012.
Rise Again Outreach is a Christian faith-centered organization. We were established in July 2007 and we are an exempt charitable organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
